Audeara Assistive Listening Devices

Feel connected with sound tailored to you.

What are assistive listening devices (ALDs)?

Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) are designed to help you hear more clearly in everyday situations, especially where background noise or distance from a sound source can make listening harder. These devices can assist with listening in specific situations such as when you’re watching the TV, listening to music, or talking on the phone.

These specialised devices offer direct audio streaming as well as features like volume control, noise cancellation, and wireless connectivity to enhance your listening experience.

How do I know if an ALD is right for me?

If you find it difficult to hear clearly in certain situations such as watching TV, talking on the phone, or following conversations in noisy environments, an assistive listening device may be helpful. These devices are designed to provide support in specific moments and depending on the device, may be used with or without hearing aids.

They can also be a good option if you aren’t quite ready for hearing aids, or if you simply want more clarity in everyday life. You are always welcome to visit one of our hearing clinics, where our team will be happy to help you explore the options and find a device that suits your needs.
